A private client in Newport Beach is seeking an experienced and detail-oriented Estate Manager to lead the day-to-day operations and staff management across multiple luxury residences. This role requires close collaboration with the Principal and their business representative to ensure a seamless and elevated daily experience for the Principal. This role requires someone who is extremely proactive, detail-oriented, calm under pressure, flexible, and able to function with a 24/7 mindset. Responsibilities: Hire, train, supervise, and support all household staff, including housekeepers, groundskeepers, and external vendors. Oversee daily household operations, including scheduling and maintaining the highest standards of service. Manage property maintenance, renovations, and construction projects. Plan and execute events, ranging from intimate family gatherings to large-scale functions. Coordinate the Principal's schedule and travel in collaboration with personal assistants. Represent the Principal professionally in all interactions with vendors, family office staff, and external parties. Maintain detailed household inventories, house manuals, operational systems, and vendor relationships. Provide regular project updates and status reports to the Principal and her representative. Lead special projects and support strategic household initiatives as needed. Qualifications: Minimum 5+ years in a senior-level estate or household management role with excellent references from prior employers. Proven experience with staffing, vendor management, budgeting, and event coordination. Strong interpersonal, leadership, and communication skills. Tech-savvy; proficient in Microsoft Office. Prior experience working in Orange County with a well-established network of local vendors and service providers. Maintains a polished and professional demeanor. Physically able to perform all duties, including lifting up to 20 lbs. and standing/walking for extended periods. Valid driver's license and clean driving record; must pass a background check and drug screening. Must be legally authorized to work in the U.S. Schedule: Monday through Friday. Flexibility required for evenings, weekends, and travel as needed. Compensation: Annual Salary between $200K - $225K to commensurate with experience. Qualifications and expectations with an annual discretionary performance bonus of up to 25% after first year of service.
