Responsibilities of the Pasteurizer

• Inspect machines for hazards, malfunctions, efficiency, and communicate with maintenance and management to address issues.
• Examine ingredient samples and products to verify qualities such as flavor and consistency, making necessary adjustments.
• Collect samples for laboratory analysis.
• Clean and sanitize tanks, screens, and equipment using automated systems and chemical solutions.
• Start and operate equipment to mix, pasteurize, or transfer materials and for food production.
• Maintain logs of instrument readings, test results, and shift production.
• Follow and adhere to processing SOPs and GMPs.
• Conduct quality control tests to ensure the product meets company and regulatory standards.
• Perform other duties as assigned.

Job Requirements: 

• Strong understanding of food safety standards, including HACCP and GMP
• Must have minimum of 2+ years’ experience.
• Ability to work independently and as part of a team in a fast-paced environment.
• Ability to troubleshoot issues when they arise.
• Ability to manage multiple priorities and have a sense of urgency when needed.
• Knowledge of processing system and have mechanical experience.
• Must have QA- QC experience as well as lab work experience.
