The Oregon Museum of Science and Industry (OMSI) is hiring for multiple Outdoor Science Instructor positions. Join our team and get the opportunity to live, work, and play at Hancock Field Station, located outside Fossil, OR.
OMSI operates one of the largest museum-based outdoor education programs in the country, and supports life-long learning, inclusive communities, and fostering positive relationships with the environment. In joining the OMSI team, you also participate in OMSI’s vision to ignite an education transformation at the intersection of science and technology that spreads educational opportunities across the Northwest.
Outdoor Science Instructors are a passionate team of educators and learners committed to providing transformative concept-based outdoor science education experiences. Using our curricula, instructors plan and lead lessons that are student-centered and place-based for all ages with the great outdoors as their classroom! Instructors create more than just an educational experience for students and campers, they create life-changing experiences and memories that last a lifetime.
Multiple positions including Spring season only, Spring – Summer, and Spring – Fall are available.
Position Requirements
